At RIEI, we regard elderly care as a lifestyle service, making the lives of elderly people as comfortable as possible. Working around the theme of “from elderly care to comfort care,” we deliver comfortable lifestyles filled with IYASHI (healing) to all of our customers. With “OMOTENASHI (hospitality) from IYASHI and from dining” as the fundamental basis for our service, we operate private nursing homes, group homes, day service, visiting care and a range of other services; primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area, but also in the Hokkaido, Kansai and Kyushu areas of Japan.
Private Nursing Home with Daily Care
Provides a safe environment and a comprehensive daily care service including meals, cleaning, laundry, bathing and health management.
Residential Type Private Nursing Home
Nursing home with meals and life services. Outside service is easily accessible whenever necessary so that tenants requiring extra care can be reassured.
Residences with Health and Welfare Services
A residence for elderly people who want to live their lives as they would in their own homes, but which also provides lifestyle consultation and safety confirmation services to ensure residents’ safety and well-being. Residents can make use of elderly care services as needed according to their own personal situations.
In this group home style residence, a small group of staff and residents live together communally. Everybody cooperates with tasks such as food preparation and laundry.
Day Care Service
This mobile elderly care service is available to senior citizens under home care for assistance with daily activities such as bathing, lunch and recreation.
Home helpers provide necessary bodily care and assistance in daily activities in the comfort of one’s own home.
Home Care Support
Our care managers provide assistance with designing a care plan, act as an intermediary between customers and our office, and help find the right type of service.
Rental and Sale of Welfare Equipment
One of our specialist consultants will inquire about the physical condition and living environment of the user, and select and recommend optimal welfare and caregiving equipment for each individual user.
Communicare24 was launched in April 2000 as part of lifestyle service company RIEI’s total elderly care service business. It was launched to coincide with the enforcement of Japan’s Long-term Care Insurance System.
The name Communicare24 originates from our wish to provide 24-hour elderly care services in the community. It was therefore launched as 24-hour, 365-days-a-year elderly-care service, firmly enrooted in local communities.
We have now expanded our operations to not only private nursing homes, but also day services and group homes with deep ties to local communities nationwide, although primarily in the Greater Tokyo Area.
Working under the concepts that “people are healed by other people” and “from elderly care to comfort care,” we are providing lifestyle support services to ensure optimal comfort for elderly people.
